Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups 2 cups all-purpose flour Forms the base of the loaf.
  • 1 tsp 1 tsp salt Balances the sweetness.
  • 1 tsp 1 tsp baking soda Helps the bread rise.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius) and prepare your loaf pan by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, stir together the brown sugar and granulated sugar with the melted butter until fully combined.
  3. Add the eggs, vanilla extract, and mashed ripe bananas. Stir well until evenly mixed.
  4. Gradually add the all-purpose flour, salt, and baking soda to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until no flour remains visible.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth out the top.
  6. Microwave the Nutella for about 20-25 seconds until it becomes pourable, then dollop half of it over the batter and swirl gently.
  7. Pour the remaining batter on top and repeat the swirling process with the remaining Nutella.
Baking
  1. Place the loaf pan in the oven and bake for 50-55 minutes. The bread is done when a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  2. Let the bread cool in the pan for about 15 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For best results, store your bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. You can freeze it for up to 3 months. Ripe bananas make the best flavor.
