Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 3 pieces Boneless chicken breasts About 2 lb total
  • 0.25 cup Olive oil Rich, aromatic oil for moisture
  • 0.5 tablespoon Herbs de Provence Herb blend perfect for poultry
  • 2 teaspoons Garlic granules For a concentrated garlic flavor
  • 1 piece Lemon (juice + zest) Adds brightness and flavor
  • Salt and black pepper to taste Essential seasoning

Method

Preparation
  1. Remove any unwanted fat from the chicken breasts and transfer them to a Ziploc bag or a large bowl.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic granules, Herbs de Provence, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Pour the marinade over the chicken breasts and massage it into the chicken. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes or up to 12 hours in the fridge.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (195°C) for 3-5 minutes and spray the basket with cooking oil.
  2. Place the chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for 18 to 20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  3. Remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for about 5 minutes before cutting.

Notes

For enhanced flavor, try marinating the chicken overnight. Use a mix of dried thyme, rosemary, and basil if you don't have Herbs de Provence. Avoid overcrowding the air fryer for the best crispy results.
