Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 3 pieces bananas (dole, peeled) Choose ripe bananas that are soft and sweet.
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour Adds structure to the batter.
  • 1 piece egg Helps to bind the ingredients.
  • 1/2 tablespoon sugar Adjust based on your sweetness preference.
  • Oil (for deep frying) Use a neutral oil that withstands high heat.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, mash the bananas using a fork, leaving small chunks for texture.
  2. Add the flour, egg, and sugar to the mashed bananas and mix well until a smooth batter forms.
Cooking
  1. Heat enough oil in a frying pan or deep pot until it's hot.
  2. Drop spoonfuls of the banana batter into the hot oil, shaping them into a round form.
  3. Fry until golden brown, about 3-5 minutes per side, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.
Serving
  1. Remove the fritters from the oil and let them drain on paper towels.
  2. Serve warm and enjoy the crunchy exterior with the soft banana filling.

Notes

For best results, use ripe bananas. Maintain the right oil temperature for the crispiest fritters. Feel free to experiment with flavors by adding a pinch of salt or a dash of vanilla extract.
