Ingredients

Base Ingredients
  • 2 cups whole milk Rich and creamy base.
  • 12 oz evaporated milk Adds luxurious creaminess.
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows Melt beautifully into the drink.
  • 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips Provides rich chocolate flavor.
Topping Ingredients
  • 1 cup heavy cream (cold) Whipped for topping.
  • 1/4 cup whole milk (cold) Helps achieve pourable consistency.
  • 2 tablespoons hot fudge sundae topping (warmed) For rich chocolate flavor enhancement.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large pot over medium heat, whisk together the whole milk, evaporated milk, and mini marshmallows until melted and creamy.
  2. Stir in the semi-sweet chocolate chips, scraping the bottom of the pot to prevent sticking, until fully melted and the mixture is soupy but not thickened. Remove from heat once it begins to steam.
  3. In a mason jar or cocktail shaker, combine the cold heavy cream, cold milk, and warmed hot fudge topping. Secure the lid and shake for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  4. Transfer the hot chocolate sauce to a serving pitcher and pour the whipped cream on top. Stir until consistently combined.
Serving
  1. Serve immediately by ladling the hot chocolate sauce into individual cups and topping with cold cream. Stir to evenly distribute the temperature and color.

Notes

Consider adding a pinch of vanilla extract or cinnamon for extra flavor. Customize toppings with whipped cream or chocolate drizzles.
