Chicken and Vegetables
  • 2-3 pieces chicken breasts, cut into chunks Adds protein and texture.

  • 1 yellow bell pepper, cut into slices Offers a milder sweetness.
  • 3 tsp Cajun seasoning, more or less to taste Provides characteristic bold, spicy flavor.

Method

Cooking the Pasta
  1. Begin by cooking the bow tie pasta according to the package directions until al dente. Once cooked, drain the pasta and rinse it with cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.
Preparing the Skillet
  1. In a large skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat until it sizzles gently.
Sautéing Garlic
  1. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for about 30 seconds, just until fragrant. Be careful not to burn it.
Cooking Chicken and Peppers
  1. Add the cubed chicken along with the sliced red and yellow bell peppers. Sprinkle in the Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring frequently, until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink inside.
Making the Sauce
  1. Pour in the milk and add the softened cream cheese. Stir continuously until the cream cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy and smooth.
Combining Pasta and Cheese
  1. Once the sauce has reached the desired creaminess, add the cooked pasta noodles and freshly grated parmesan cheese to the skillet. Stir thoroughly to combine.
Serving
  1. Serve immediately with crusty garlic bread or a light green salad for a complete meal.

Notes

Adjust spiciness by altering the amount of Cajun seasoning. For a healthier option, substitute cream cheese with Greek yogurt. Adding vegetables like spinach or zucchini boosts nutrition.
