Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 450 g Strawberries Juicy and fragrant, freshly picked strawberries give this jam its signature taste and beautiful color.
  • 225 g Granulated Sugar Sweetness that balances the tartness of the fruit, creating a harmonious blend.
  • 45 g Lemon Juice Adds a bright, zesty note to contrast with the sweet strawberries; adjust according to taste.

Method

Preparation
  1. Sterilize your glass jars by placing them in boiling water for over five minutes, then let them air dry on a wire rack.
  2. Wash your strawberries thoroughly under running water and let them dry completely.
  3. Cut the strawberries into small cubes.
Cooking
  1. In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, combine chopped strawberries, granulated sugar, and lemon juice. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  2. Once boiling, remove foams that surface with a spoon.
  3. Check the jam’s consistency using the Plate Test or a Candy Thermometer until it reaches around 220ºF (104ºC).
  4. Remove from heat and pour into your prepared sterilized jars, securing the lids tightly.
  5. Flip jars for a minute before allowing them to cool.

Notes

Adjust sugar based on strawberry sweetness. Consider adding spices like vanilla or cinnamon for a unique flavor. Store in the refrigerator for up to a month; freeze for up to a year.
