Ingredients

Garlic Herb Butter
  • 1 stick salted butter, softened (about 110g) Provides a creamy texture.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced or finely diced Creates a savory aroma.
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, finely chopped Adds freshness that balances the richness.
Rolls
  • 16 ounces pizza dough (about 454g) Can use store-bought or homemade.
  • 2 tablespoons salted butter For brushing on top.
  • 1 clove garlic, minced or finely diced For garlic butter baste.
  • Flour for dusting To prevent sticking while rolling out dough.

Method

Preparation
  1. Make sure your pizza dough is thawed and at room temperature, and your butter is softened.
  2. In a bowl, mix the stick of softened butter, 4 minced garlic cloves, and finely chopped parsley. Set aside.
  3. Dust your work surface with flour and roll out the pizza dough into an oblong shape.
  4. Spread a generous layer of the garlic herb butter over the rolled-out pizza dough, covering the entire surface.
Rolling and Chilling
  1. Carefully roll up the dough into a log shape, bringing the short ends together.
  2. Chill the log in the freezer for 10 minutes or in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Cooking
  1. While the dough is chilling, melt 2 tablespoons of butter with the remaining minced garlic in a pan over low to medium heat.
  2. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  3. Once chilled, slice the log into 8 pinwheels.
  4. Lightly oil the bottom of the air fryer basket and place the pinwheels inside. Brush tops with melted garlic butter.
  5. Cook the pinwheels in the air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for 10 to 13 minutes, until golden brown.

Notes

For variations, try mixing in other herbs like oregano or basil, or add shredded mozzarella inside the rolls. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat in the air fryer for about 5 minutes to regain crispiness.
